In 2001 the Danish company SteelSeries was founded by Jacob Wolff-Pettersen. SteelSeries specialises in gaming equipment such as mice, headsets, keyboards and playing surfaces. At an early stage, the company began sponsoring pro-gamer teams like Evil Geniuses, Alliance or Vitality.
