Receiving items in PUBG
You can buy skins and item chests in Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds. In the game just click on “Rewards” to buy a Random Weekly Crate. The more you buy in a week, the more expensive the boxes get. There were special boxes at the pre-sale of the game and e. g. at the Gamescom. Meanwhile the price of these boxes increased tremendously because they are no longer available. Currently, the Wanderer Crates and Survivor Crates are available.
If you now open a box, you get a random item from a selection of items. There are frequent / normal and special items with different scarcity values. The rarer an item is, the more you usually get for it on the market . To open a box, click on “Character”, the box you want to open and finally on OPEN:
The excitement is endless and the hope is huge: With the click you get a random PUBG skin:
Selling items in PUBG
After receiving the items, you can sell them either in the Steam Community Market or via various trading platforms. Please note that trading via pages such as OPSkins or PUBG Trader is safer than unofficial channels on Reddit & Co. By the way, a very easy-to-use trading bot is PUBGBot.com.
The sale itself is actually quite simple: Since the items are in your inventory at Steam after unpacking, you can offer them directly at the community market. Trading sites use the Steamshop API and work according to the same principle: Logging in with Steam account and selling. If you really want to trade skins or items professionally with PUBG, you should also use sites like PUBG Showcase or Steamanalyst to keep yourself informed about the price development of the individual items.
