Jens Heinz Richard Knossalla, better known as Knossi, was banned for the fourth time in his career on the streaming platform Twitch on December 10, 2020. The reason for the ban is not quite clear yet, but there are many indications that he was banned for showing nudity.
During his stream titled "Wearmuda Drip Show - End of the year SPECIAL! 1000€ !giveaway", Knossi showed a video which featured a naked man's butt and responded to it accordingly. At this point, there were around 30,000 viewers watching the stream.
How long will Knossi be banned?
It is not known how long the ban will last. However, due to the fact that Knossi has already received several bans during his career, it can be assumed that the ban will last for at least a few days, even if the reason appears to be harmless.
Twitch doesn't spare even the streamers with the widest reach
That Knossi is one of the streamers with the largest reach in the German-speaking world should be known at the latest since his fishing, horror and Christmas camp this year. With the so called "Angelcamp" and "Horrorcamp" he was able to break both times the previous viewer record for the most simultaneous viewers during a German-speaking stream. Streamer "MontanaBlack", a long-time friend of Knossi, who is also one of the biggest streamers in the German-speaking world, has also not been spared by Twitch and has been banned several times this year by the streaming platform, which has recently come under increasing criticism. The longest ban lasted 33 days. The reason for this was an IRL stream from his vacation in Malta, in which he shouted strange sounds and questionable statements at women.
It can be deduced from this that the streaming platform Twitch does not shy away from banning even bigger streamers who contribute significantly to the success of the platform.
